An excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join a highly regarded Scottish law firm and an established, successful Property team.

Beaumont Legal Recruitment is delighted to be representing a respected legal practice in Edinburgh seeking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to support its continued growth.

The Opportunity
You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to settlement and completion, delivering an efficient, professional and client-focused service throughout.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of residential sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of title and new-build transactions.
• Drafting, reviewing and preparing conveyancing documentation.
• Examining title deeds and undertaking title investigations.
• Preparing and submitting registration documents to Registers of Scotland.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly.
• Preparing settlement statements and completion documentation.
• Monitoring transaction progress, managing deadlines and resolving issues as they arise.
• Maintaining accurate files and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Providing clear communication, practical guidance and excellent client care throughout the conveyancing process.

About You
You will have previous experience in residential conveyancing within a Scottish law firm and the confidence to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
You will also demonstrate:

• A sound understanding of Scottish residential conveyancing procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to build positive relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
• A proactive, professional approach and a genuine commitment to delivering an excellent client experience.
