An excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognised Real Estate team within a leading UK law firm.

Beaumont Legal Recruitment is working with a highly regarded law firm seeking an experienced Plot Sales Paralegal / Conveyancing Executive to join its established residential development team.
The team acts for leading housebuilders, developers and investors across Scotland and the wider UK, handling a high volume of residential development transactions.

The Role
You will support a busy Plot Sales team, managing the conveyancing process from reservation through to completion. Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and issuing plot sale missives and settlement documentation.
• Dealing with pre-contract enquiries and completion statements.
• Managing completion and registration procedures.
• Handling part-exchange and chain-break transactions.
• Preparing and submitting online tax returns.
• Dealing with Registers of Scotland and online registration systems.
• Ordering conveyancing searches.
• Opening, managing and closing files.
• Liaising with clients and other solicitors to ensure an efficient transaction process.

About You

• Previous experience in residential conveyancing, ideally within plot sales.
• Good understanding of Scottish conveyancing and registration procedures.
• Confident managing your own caseload and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent organisational, communication and client service skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A proactive, flexible and team-focused approach.
