Due to sustained growth and an expanding high-net-worth client portfolio, an opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their award-winning Property team.

T he Role
As a Senior Solicitor, you will manage a high-quality, diverse caseload of residential property matters from inception to completion. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy while acting as a trusted advisor to key clients and playing a pivotal role in the strategic growth of the department.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing complex conveyancing transactions including high-value purchases, sales, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating missives, deeds, and complex legal titles.
  • Providing expert advice on Scottish property law, land registration, and LBTT requirements.
  • Mentoring, supervising, and developing junior solicitors, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Actively participating in business development initiatives to expand the firm's market presence.
The Candidate

We are looking for a driven, technically accomplished individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and prides themselves on delivering a flawless client experience.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor admitted to the Law Society of Scotland.
  • A minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) specialising in Scottish residential conveyancing.
  • Proven track record of handling complex property transactions independently.
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a commercial mindset.
