he Role
As a Senior Solicitor, you will manage a high-quality, diverse caseload of residential property matters from inception to completion. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy while acting as a trusted advisor to key clients and playing a pivotal role in the strategic growth of the department.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex conveyancing transactions including high-value purchases, sales, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating missives, deeds, and complex legal titles.
- Providing expert advice on Scottish property law, land registration, and LBTT requirements.
- Mentoring, supervising, and developing junior solicitors, paralegals, and support staff.
- Actively participating in business development initiatives to expand the firm's market presence.

Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor admitted to the Law Society of Scotland.
- A minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) specialising in Scottish residential conveyancing.
- Proven track record of handling complex property transactions independently.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commercial mindset.
