This is a stand-alone role offering a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion, providing clients with a seamless and professional service throughout the transaction process.
This position would suit a confident and commercially minded conveyancing professional who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from inception to completion.
- Handling sales, purchases, transfers of title, remortgages and new build transactions.
- Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties.
- Drafting and reviewing conveyancing documentation.
- Conducting title examinations and property searches.
- Preparing settlement statements and completion documentation.
- Managing registration processes with Registers of Scotland.
- Ensuring all transactions are progressed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing a high standard of client care throughout the conveyancing process.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of Scottish residential conveyancing procedures.
