Beaumont Legal Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded, full-service Scottish law firm to appoint an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join its established Glasgow team.

The Role

Based in Glasgow, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality private client services, supporting the wider team while managing your own matters with autonomy and accountability.

You will be involved in:

Estate Administration
  • Managing both testate and intestate estates from inception to completion
  • Handling estates where Inheritance Tax is payable
  • Preparing detailed estate accounts
  • Liaising directly with executors, beneficiaries and third parties
Wills & Powers of Attorney
  • Drafting simple wills and powers of attorney
  • Advising clients sensitively and clearly on succession planning matters
Guardianship
  • Managing guardianship administration files
  • Preparing accounts for submission to the Office of the Public Guardian
  • Drafting guardianship applications and renewal minutes
General Responsibilities
  • Maintaining high standards of file management and regulatory compliance
  • Managing your own caseload efficiently and commercially
  • Meeting time recording and fee targets in line with departmental objectives
  • Contributing to a positive client experience at every stage of engagement
About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
  • Proven experience within private client work, particularly estate administration
  • Strong working knowledge of inheritance tax processes
  • The ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
  • Clear, articulate communication skills and a professional client manner
  • A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach
  • A collaborative mindset, balanced with confidence in your own capability
