Beaumont Legal Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established and highly regarded Scottish law firm to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor for its friendly and supportive team in Stirling.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident solicitor with at least five years’ PQE to manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters. The position offers genuine scope for career progression, increased responsibility and involvement in developing junior members of the team.
The role
You will advise clients across a broad range of family law matters, including:
- Financial provision following separation
- Prenuptial agreements
- Residence and contact disputes
- Adoption cases
- Guardianships
- Civil hearings and proofs
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of five years’ PQE in family law
- Experience managing a varied caseload of privately funded matters
- Experience conducting civil hearings and proofs
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A proactive, practical and empathetic approach
- The confidence to supervise and develop junior colleagues
- Some knowledge of legal aid, particularly in relation to guardianship work, would be advantageous
- Salary of £65,000+, depending on experience
