The Opportunity
You will play an active role in managing banking and finance transactions from instruction through to completion, taking ownership of matters appropriate to your level of experience while working closely alongside experienced senior colleagues.
The role will provide exposure across a wide range of banking and finance work, including:
- Corporate lending and security transactions
- Acquisition finance and leveraged transactions
- Real estate finance
- Asset-based lending
- Structured finance arrangements
- Marine finance matters
- Debt restructuring and refinancing
- Multi-jurisdictional transactions
About You
Applicants should ideally possess:
- Qualified Solicitor in Scotland
- Ideally 2+ years’ PQE within banking, finance, or wider commercial law
- Experience advising on facility agreements and security documentation
- Strong analytical and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Collaborative and proactive approach
- Interest in developing long-term client relationships and contributing to team growth
